Despite being released in 1976, this is probably the most 1980s record cover we have ever seen. It’s so retro, it’s positively fashionable now.

This dub album was released on Third World Records, which was a UK label based in Stoke Newington in London. The album was a tale of two sides, with Side 1 credited to ‘Third World Product’ and Side 2 credited to the legendary producer Keith Hudson. ‘Third World Product’ was another moniker for Shelley Barrett, a.k.a Count Shelly.

Third World records released a number of compilations in the late 1970s, including releases from Delroy Wilson, Cornell Campbell, Owen Gray, Linval Thompson, and more.
